When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.

Christmas came early for the guests of the Diaper Bank. On December 4th, 64 cases of diapers were distributed to 47 families. Fourteen of these families have more than one child in diapers. The joy, the surprise, the gratitude, the disbelief on the guests faces. This truly was a happy occasion for all!
The GOOD NEWS: The Diaper Bank distributed the most diapers in any one month since becoming operational. We are meeting families in need and enabling them to use their limited disposable income on goods other than diapers.
The NOT SO GOOD NEWS: Our shelves are being depleted at a faster rate than our resources. The need is growing. This speaks to a much larger concern. These guests are representative of our National Health Care Crisis. One in six children live in poverty, making them the poorest age group in America. (Children’s Defense Fund).
Ending on GOOD NEWS: Three newborns are our latest welcomed guests to the Diaper Bank. In 2021, this ministry, through the donations of diapers and monetary gifts from members and friends of our congregation, distributed 333 half cases, and 64 cases of diapers, including baby wipes and food. From all the guests who accept gratefully, and our volunteers who give cheerfully, “thank you.”
