We will reconvene in the Sheffield Auditorium on Monday, January 10th, returning to our pre-COVID hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We welcome visitors and shoppers while we work and the Partnership Store will also be open during that time.
Due to the generosity, time, and talent of all of the Ladies Who Stitch, and to the donations and purchases made by our many supporters, we have contributed more than $1000.00 to LBS/FCCOL since the November 20th Holiday Sale! Color us grateful.
By the way, in the past few years we have made over 500 dresses for little girls in Haiti – dresses that are given out by Ted and Becky Crosby when they are there at work with their educational foundation. We have also made well over two hundred cloth tote bags for the guests at the Homeless Hospitality Center in New London. And knit prayer shawls, and made infant receiving blankets, for our pastoral visitation ministry. When COVID first hit, we made over 1,000 masks to meet the initial needs of that crisis. It’s all a part of the outreach and ministry of this church.
