We welcomed Ashley Makar, Community Outreach Coordinator at IRIS (Integrated Immigration and Refugee Services) Sunday with three Sudanese refugees who shared their stories and advocacy efforts with us. We learned about the genocide taking place in the Darfur region and the humanitarian response and needs of displaced refugees in Chad. For more information: www.sudansunrise.org.
