Long Island Sound has a long history of pollution, protection, and restoration. While enormous strides have been made, challenges with water quality remain, and new challenges are emerging. Nature-inspired practices are one approach to the continued protection and restoration of the Sound. In this talk we will examine a wide range of available nature-based solutions at the personal, local, and regional scale, and how they can be put into practice.
