Ministry & Outreach Funding
How your gifts create more goodness in this church, this community, and throughout our world.
Your generosity has made it possible for us to continue to love and serve those inside and outside our doors.

Last year, your faithful giving totaled $910,238 — a testament to this community’s commitment to the life and work of this congregation.
While the needs around us keep growing, your generosity has made it possible for us to continue to love and serve those inside and outside our doors. Your contributions have helped support FCCOL’s worship, education, music, mission and community outreach, and pastoral care.
Because of your giving, both financially and through your volunteer service:
Our worship services, in person and online, have been inspiring and challenging, and have helped people find the courage to work for a world where love wins.
Our vibrant educational program has made space to ask the big questions, and continues to be engaging and encouraging to people of all ages.
Music and the arts continue to thrive here, including one of our greatest treasures—our choir.
We are able to support more than 75 local and international charities, and have become one of the largest sites in Southeastern Connecticut for Shoreline Food Pantries and Soup Kitchens.
We support refugee resettlement and provide immigration assistance to our neighbors. And host numerous community organizations and causes onsite, such as Red Cross blood drives, Musical Masterworks, AA meetings and more.
Our three ministers are able to provide pastoral care…in homes, hospitals, and nursing facilities for our congregation and our wider community; and offer memorial services, weddings, and grief, pre-marriage, and baptism counseling.
Because of your generosity, The First Congregational Church of Old Lyme is able to answer the call to love our neighbor — no exceptions. And to be a place of healing and hope here on the corner of Lyme Street and Ferry Road.
