Stewardship: The Way Ahead

Help us dream bigger, work harder, and imagine more.

The annual practice of Stewardship giving provides a level of consistency that creates possibility, allowing us to build the kind of church, community, and world we want to live in.

Contributions to our Stewardship Campaign enable us to cover 80% of the costs of our ministries and outreach. They are also tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Stewardship FAQ

The average annual gift from our members and friends is approximately $2,400. But this is only an average. We invite our members and friends to contribute however they are able—ALL gifts support our important ministries and missions.

In order to plan our annual budget, we need to have an idea of what our income is going to be. Knowing your intent is important, which is why we ask our members to make a pledge in October. We invite you to give generously to support our ministry and missions, and thank you for all the good you will make possible.

Every gift counts, every gift is appreciated, and every intention to give helps us better plan our ministry and missions. Filling out a pledge card enables us to ensure that our expenses don’t exceed our income, no matter how large or small each gift may be. We’re deeply grateful for every contribution.

The financial responsibility of our church rests on the shoulders of the whole congregation, members and friends alike. If you participate in the life of our church, we encourage you to participate in its support. Your financial contribution matters.

Absolutely! If a single check is most convenient for you, we’ll gratefully receive it.

The pledge card is an intention to give, not a legal contract. If, for any reason, you cannot meet your intention, we certainly will understand.

Please call the church office at 860-434-8686 to be put in touch with a member of the Board of Stewardship.
