Work for Justice
Justice work means more than good intentions.

Justice work means changing systems and structures. It means participating in God’s ongoing work in the world to sustain and uphold the dignity of all life. It means speaking out in the face of injustice, marching in the streets, and writing letters. We believe protest marches are holy, acts of solidarity are where hope begins, and the work of building a more just and compassionate world is exactly why we are here.
That’s the reason we have forged partnerships with organizations across the globe that advocate for human rights, and that are working to end racism and exclusion.
It’s why we try to foster interfaith relationships and work on ways to bring people together across differences.
It’s why we try to learn more about racism in our own history, our community, and in our personal lives, and work on eradicating it.
As the prophet Micah makes clear, real faith isn’t just about pious words or ethereal music – it’s about doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly on this earth.
