Justice & Compassion
Answering the call to co-create a more just and compassionate world.
As Dr. Cornell West has reminded us, “Justice is what love looks like in public.”

And Jesus, throughout the historical Biblical record, tells us that God is with, and for, “the least of these” – God is present with those on the margins – and that we are called to be there too.
Sometimes being there is as simple as feeding our neighbors through our partnership with our local food pantry. Sometimes it means speaking up instead of shying away from emotionally-charged political issues, especially those that put peoples’ rights and safety at risk. Sometimes justice work stretches around the globe in international partnerships that expand our understanding, our perspective, and our expectations for what love can do.
Wherever justice and compassion are at work in our town, our country, and the world, we’d like to be there, too. And we’d love you to join us.
