Our Building

The building we meet in today was completed in 1908-9, restored after a fire with help from artists in the Old Lyme art colony. Those artists went on to paint several celebrated works of the building, two of which hang in galleries to this day. Community, art, and belonging are built into this place, in the history of its construction and in the heart of the values we share.

If you’re looking for a beautiful space for your wedding ceremony, we would be honored to celebrate with you!

We are an open and affirming church, joyfully supporting all people and the rich diversity of loving relationships and families. Membership is not required to host your wedding here—all are welcome.

Our church is available for memorial services and funerals for church members and non-members alike. We also have a memorial garden next to the Meetinghouse where folks are welcome to inter the ashes of a loved one.
