On March 6, 2022 following the 10:00 service in Fellowship Hall, please join us for a presentation by Dr. Jamie Vaudrey, Assistant Professor of Marine Sciences at UConn. She is also one of two operating leaders of the newly established Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). The Connecticut NERR is the most recent addition to a nationwide system of estuaries and their surrounding wetlands – unique areas that sequester carbon, cleanse the water, and sustain numerous species, some of them endangered. This NERR encompasses shoreline locations in Lyme, Old Lyme, New London, Groton and Mystic.
