This is the Old Lyme mural being created through the work of PARJE (Public Art for Racial Justice Education). The mural (image right) is being painted on a large canvas which can be displayed in a few different places in our town – first, most likely, on the side of the Middle School in Old Lyme. Our Board of Missions made a donation to help support this work. Ultimately there will be murals – each one different – in Saybrook, Old Lyme, East Lyme, New London, Norwich and even more towns over time.
